GB October is already in full swing.
In the world, in Poland, and in my small school-and-home universe, so much is happening and changing.
But Chopin still plays.

From the first stage — the thrill of listening to Mateusz Dubiel — to the quiet disappointment when he didn’t appear in the second, I found comfort again in the sound of that music.
And now, with a touch of excitement, we enter Stage III.

The first day is behind me.
Chopin still plays — in sonatas, in mazurkas, in the hearts of those who listen.

This year, three Polish pianists advanced to Stage III of the Chopin Competition:
Piotr Alexewicz, Piotr Pawlak and Yehuda Prokopowicz.

Especially moving will be the performance of Piotr Alexewicz from Wrocław, scheduled for October 16.
A few more days of music and emotion lie ahead — Chopin’s heart continues to beat in every note.

A Chopin wciąż gra

Październik rozpędził się już na dobre.
Na świecie, w Polsce i w moim małym, szkolno-domowym świecie dużo się dzieje i zmienia.
Ale Chopin wciąż gra.

Od pierwszego etapu i zachwytu nad Mateuszem Dubielem, przez lekki zawód, że nie zobaczę go w drugim etapie — po ukojenie dźwiękami, które niosły się w kolejnym.
Teraz, z dreszczykiem emocji, wchodzimy w trzeci etap.

Pierwszy dzień już za mną.
Chopin wciąż brzmi — w sonatach, w mazurkach, w sercach tych, którzy słuchają.

W tym roku w III etapie Konkursu Chopinowskiego znalazło się trzech Polaków:
Piotr Alexewicz, Piotr Pawlak i Yehuda Prokopowicz.

Szczególnie cieszy występ Piotra Alexewicza z Wrocławia, który zagra 16 października.
Przed nami jeszcze kilka dni muzycznych emocji — sonaty, mazurki i preludia, w których wciąż bije serce Chopina.
