From TEDx to the National Finals of the International Public Speaking Competition/PL Od TEDx do ogólnopolskiego finału International Public Speaking Competition

These were two intense and unforgettable days.
On Friday, 14 March, I opened TEDxLOV Youth as the first speaker of the day.
Right after my talk, I went straight to the airport, caught an evening flight to Gdańsk, and the next morning – 15 March – I stood on another stage, this time at the National Finals of the International Public Speaking Competition.

The event brought together 24 finalists from all over Poland, all speaking on the same topic:
“We know what we are but not what we may be.”

Each of us had to prepare and deliver our own speech from memory, and then answer questions – not only from the judges, but also from other participants.
In my speech, I spoke about believing in yourself, working hard, and having the courage to become the person you want to be.

After a day full of inspiring talks and conversations, I was awarded 3rd place.
It was a beautiful experience and a chance to meet people who, just like me, love expressing ideas through words.

Od TEDx do ogólnopolskiego finału International Public Speaking Competition

To były dwa intensywne i niezapomniane dni.
W piątek, 14 marca, otworzyłam TEDxLOV Youth jako pierwsza prelegentka.
Zaraz po swoim wystąpieniu pojechałam prosto na lotnisko, wsiadłam w wieczorny samolot do Gdańska, a już następnego ranka – 15 marca – znów stanęłam na scenie, tym razem podczas ogólnopolskiego finału International Public Speaking Competition.

W konkursie wzięło udział 24 finalistów z całej Polski, wszyscy przemawiali na ten sam temat:
„We know what we are but not what we may be.”

Każdy z nas musiał samodzielnie przygotować i wygłosić swoje przemówienie z pamięci, a następnie odpowiadać na pytania – nie tylko od jury, ale także od innych uczestników.
W moim wystąpieniu mówiłam o wierze w siebie, pracy i odwadze w dążeniu do tego, kim naprawdę chcemy się stać.

Po dniu pełnym inspirujących przemówień i rozmów zdobyłam 3. miejsce.
To było wyjątkowe doświadczenie i okazja, by spotkać ludzi, którzy – tak jak ja – lubią wyrażać siebie przez słowa.
